Hillary is taking the day off.

And her surrogates are spread across the country speaking for her.

We can only imagine how difficult it has been for her in the last few days. I have been amazed with her strength and grace, under such conditions as she has had to endure.

I don't know if any presidential candidate has ever had to go thru the personal attacks that she gone through? It must be emotionally draining to have to stand on the stage with such a toxic personality as Donald Trump?

You thought coughing was a problem ....

I'm rather sure the Donald's complete meltdown is providing more than enough counter balance to the attacks. She can take the week off and still gain in the polls right now.

And lots of rest to get rid of it. Some days you feel fine; others, you're exhausted and coughing. I think she's just following dr's orders and pacing herself.

Thankfully the Democratic party is doing far more to back Hillary than it did for Kerry, when he was attacked personally by the SBVT. That was an attack on his integrity and character - as well as on his resume.

In addition, his wife was attacked more subtly through articles that suggested that this usually gracious, kind, and accomplished woman was a liability. Nothing was said of all the many things she accomplished via her foundation. http://www.post-gazette.com/opinion/editorials/2016/10/07/A-great-Pittsburgher-Teresa-Heinz-s-immense-role-in-improving-the-city/stories/201610070068

If you were the nominee would you prefer to be on stage against a man self destructing - no matter how disgracefully - or a man whose every transgression or mistake was dismissed by most of the media? This is an unpleasant campaign, but that unpleasantness is working to her advantage as many people who never voted for a democrat have declared for Clinton - not because there has never been a more acceptable Democrat to them, but because they are against Trump.

Such incredible grace and dignity. I was a reluctant supporter, but my respect for her has grow exponentially. She is brilliant, incredibly hard working and earnest. Yes she is a politician and does what any successful politician has to do. So what?

and ability to "pre-order" stolen/hacked files from wiki leaks. IMO, that admitted action links Republicans to espionage and must be why there's never any Republican emails/files hacked- ever.

Once in a while and people took it negatively. I just think she has pushed herself a little too hard and she connects with the public a little more easily if they can see her a little more rested and relaxed.

I give the same advice to certain workaholic male colleagues, too, so this is not a sexist comment. It's more of an anti-Puritan work ethic thing.
