Top GA Republican: ‘Hillary will do for gender relations what Obama did for race relations

There were audible gasps in the room when Evans made this prediction, should Democrat Hillary Clinton wins the White House: “Hillary will do for gender relations what Obama did for race relations.” Evans elaborated afterwards:

“She will galvanize or divide us into groups and bring out some of the worst in us, rather than the best. …I think a meritocracy is blind to gender, race, ethnicity. It’s based on results. When we look at how a player performs in a basketball game, we don’t look to see if it’s a man or woman, what their religion is, their race. We look at how many points they scored.”

regardless of skin color or gender. Given your Party's reaction to a black President the last 8 years, I doubt we'll see any more respect from the GOP when the 1st women is elected to office. Up to you to prove me wrong.

Is that what he's worried about... people doing things?

Just like with race, gender has some social problems associated with it and they should be dealt with; stratification, it still being seen as a binary, violence, norms we don't need, polarization, and more. A Trump administration would not deal with these social problems at all, and if a certain nominee's history indicates, is actually an active participant behind said social problems.

And as for it all being a meritocracy, we have an eminently qualified student of law, a diplomat, former Senator, and Secretary of State running against someone who was picked for God knows what reason, because he says the things that a Republican's id wants to hear, because he has that "brilliant business acumen" that consists of underpaying people and declaring bankruptcy when the going gets tough, etc. So to me it sounds like someone has got the results, and it ain't Trump.
