Are there similar stories to this sex stuff about the Con published about leaders of other

Countries, like France, or Italy where Berlusconi is known to be quite a playboy?

I'm asking because the US is known to shy away from talking about anything involving sex, but most European Countries are pretty open about it, and it got me thinking if we are reacting so strongly about the Con's escapades mostly because we are Americans.

2. There were stories about Saddam Hussein's sons raping women -- it was pretty sad stuff.

The "sex stuff" in Europe is almost entirely consensual. The comments on the Trump tape would be deemed unacceptable in Europe, perhaps even more so than here. European culture is generally more civil, less violent.

Even him was less skanky and criminal about it

Others like hollande and Mitterand mostly had mistresses and the French weren't that disturbed by it

involves consent and usually not so much younger women. Doubt the French would consider a woman too old at 35.

5. It's one thing to be a 'playboy' but quite another to be a predator

I'm never surprised by men in powerful positions having discreet and not so discreet consensual liaisons. It has been happening for thousands of years.

What Trump is doing is criminal.

8. IIRC it was Ghouliani that first floated the "playboy" nonsense. Makes me sick.

He was not a "playboy" when he made those comments to Bush, he was a 59 year old married man with his fifth child on the way. That makes him an adulterous, perverted predator. To try and glam it up by saying he was a "playboy" only serves to add insult to injury. The man belongs in a cell.

6. It's the coercion, intimidation, and so on that makes Trump's "sex" stuff so unacceptable.

Walking in on teenage beauty pageant (Miss Teen USA) contestants while they're in their dressing room, knowing they won't want that, but he can get away with it because he's the owner of the pageant and there's nobody for them to complain to? No, that is not acceptable anyplace I know of.

It isn't clear that what Trump did was essentially sexual -- that sort of behavior seems to be more about intimidation, dominance, putting women "in their place". Except in the limited world of S&M, domination and bullying do not count as sex.

Rape or other sorts of unwanted and unapproved touching and forcing of spit into mouths is not the same as being a cool cat.

Not the same at all.
