Drone photo on Twitter helps rescue Navy vet and dog trapped by flood on 2nd floor of house in NC

It's the house on the right with one missing blue shutter.

This is an amazing story. The guy who was trapped was having no luck with 911 calls. His brother from Texas was trying to help.
The Texas brother sees this photo on the internet and is able to get in touch with the guy flying the drone! The drone owner
goes out looking for someone with a boat and the man and his dog are rescued!

There is also a gofundme page to help this guy--with no flood insurance because he wasn't in a flood plain--who has lost everything.

All the sheetrock comes out to above the waterline to expose the studs until they dry, all the flooring gets replaced, wiring, appliances, furnishing, etc...

The big danger is structural damage from rushing water, but that neighborhood doesn't look like that's a problem.
