In case you missed it, last month, TCM is running 'A Face in the Crowd' AGAIN, tonight at 8 est

It was just on, a few weeks back. I don't ever remember them running the same movie, twice, in such a short period of time.

Hmmmmm..........

and overexposes a lot of his personal favorites while giving short shrift to the great and/or campy films of the 1930s. Most of the time I'm annoyed as hell because TCM is largely unwatchable unless a good guest programmer is on.

However, he can't run "A Face in the Crowd" enough, IMO, it has such an incredible message for our time about the power of media to create dangerous propagandists.

I always hope it draw in some curious first time viewers. I've pretty much lost count of how many times I've seen it.

And I'm not surprised that Ben Mankiewicz is a fan of this film.

but someone who is very proud to announce he's a conservative.

I'm a little surprised a conservative has noticed what the media's been up to, it's on their side. I suppose he chose this movie as a slap against Trumpery.

I would have DVRed it. Amazon Prime has it (of course, Netflix doesn't- they don't appear to have much) but my trial period is over and I haven't ponied up yet.
