I don't quote Mark Halperin very often but just now on MSNBC, he just nailed it

"Trump was upstaged by his number two"

I think may have been referring to Mike Pence acting like a grown up for 90 minutes straight.
But Trump's in a bad situation mostly due to that other number two his mouth steadily produces.
