Mike Pence walks on water for Republicans.

He is like the second coming of Reagan.

If only they could switch the ticket and have him on top?

The guy lied his ass off but that didn't matter. He didn't go off the rails like the top of the ticket is prone to do. That makes him the savior of the Republican Party.

Personally, I thought the guy, besides the lies, had very low energy and was boring as hell.

But, a person that is drowning in the middle of the ocean will grasp at a straw.

I was sitting there thinking that someone (maybe him) in the campaign had the Reagan line and the one you mentioned as ready-to-go material. He clearly was going to use the Reagan line at some point. It had no place where he used it. Should have saved instead of the "whipped out the Mexican thing" line.
