Can you describe the Republican Party after the election?

If Trump loses, does the Party return to their most recent incarnation of fake conservatism?

Where do the Trump supporters go?

Do they move even farther to the right? Or do they re-emerge as a more moderate Party?

Only time will tell.

Old white men, bigots, and racists bemoaning the demise of America, not understanding that their hatred and bigotry is what sank their ship. They'll also be in disarray for awhile because unlike our spectacular first African American president Obama, who I think had to tread lightly and who seems to be by nature thoughtful, President Hillary Clinton will have no more fucks to give. I mean, what can they possibly say about her/lie about that they haven't already?

The GOP-establishment will go back to business as usual.
The Tea Party-Republicans will always be the kind of people who "just want to see the world burn".

The voters?
The moderate republican voters will deny ever having voted for Trump.
The Trump-supporters have nowhere to go: They were disappointed by the GOP-establishment and that disappointment has turned into hatred towards politicians in general. They cannot crawl back to the GOP. They need a new political home.

Expect much more talk of "overthrowing tyranny" when the Trump-supporters realize that democracy didn't give them the result they wanted.

Even if she wins by 150 electoral points, McConnell et al will immediately take to the airwaves to insist that it doesn't represent a "mandate," and they'll renew their pledge to prevent anything from getting done.

And the media will dutifully echo their message repeatedly without context or analysis.

Everyone believed it was the end of conservatism after Bush II, buy then the tea party emerged. We believed it to be the end after Nixon, but then Reaganism emerged.

The people on the right are entrenched and dug in so deep that they can't even see which way is up.
