Trumps Huge Conflict of Interest.... as of late Deutche bank

"Deutsche Bank is in deep trouble. Its stock price has plummeted in recent days after the Justice Department demanded the gigantic German bank pay $14 billion to settle claims regarding its sale of bad mortgage-backed securities in the the run-up to the 2008 financial crisis. The bank's shares fell to a new low on Tuesday over reports it might be seeking a bailout from the German government—which Deutsche Bank has denied. The crisis has exposed the fragile state of one of the world's largest banks, but it also highlights a potential massive conflict of interest for Donald Trump.

In the past few years, Trump obtained $364 million in loans from Deutsche bank via four mortgages on three of his prized properties: Miami's Doral National golf course, Chicago's Trump International Hotel and Tower, and the newly opened Trump International Hotel in Washington, DC, a few blocks from the White House. A foreign entity holding so much of Trump's debt—financial leverage that could affect the decision-making of a future commander in chief—has raised alarms among ethics watchdogs. But with Deutsche Bank floundering, the possible conflicts posed by Trump's loans are compounding."

"The news media has paid attention to the debt Trump, via partnerships, owes a Chinese bank. But Trump's relationship with Deutsche Bank has yet to receive much scrutiny. And if Deutsche Bank continues to falter, there is the possibility that it may need to sell off loans, perhaps including the Trump loans."

get ready for the Trump News Network:

If the thought of a Trump presidency worries you, the thought of a Trump news network should scare the hell out of you.

As the speculation goes, Trump would launch a network that appeals to the right-wing fringe that currently watches Fox News. Building on the audience for Breibart, Trump would launch a media empire that was founded on the same principles we have seen in place during his campaign: hate mongering, extreme nationalism, xenophobia, misogyny and a total lack of connection to reality. If the campaign seemed to have fascist tendencies, imagine a news network founded on those same principles.

As The New Yorker reports, “We can be assured that a TBN (Trump Breitbart News) Network wouldn’t shy away from the conservative, or even the ‘alt-conservative,’ label. It would be nationalistic, xenophobic, and conspiratorial.”

Such a network would not only marshal the very worst in our society, it would serve to totally destabilize the role of Fox News. It would literally outfox Fox News, since it would likely pull some of its most devoted viewers and cause the network to have to completely rethink its strategy.

Losing almost 6 million is bad enough, but it looks like the return was fudged, two numbers at the beginning of it not aligned with the rest. It does 2 lines above, also.

Maybe the program wouldn't allow such a big number so it had to be added manually later, dunno. However, if I were trying to screw a STBX out of his/her share of the prenup agreement, the first thing I'd do is whine about all the money I lost.

I smell fraud of one type or another.

... of what happened to Dan Rather over Dumbya's national guard papers.

Maybe the circumstances are completely different this time, but I was concerned that the tax return could be a "plant" since they arrived anonymously.

As time passed without Trump's team denying it, I became more relieved.

Now you've got me wondering about those first two digits!

Evidently as you surmise, the program wouldn't allow such a big number, so they had to use a typewriter to add the "91" back in. They had trouble lining it up properly. Ironically, that's one of the things that allowed the attorney to authenticate the tax return as real. He still remembers having to manually add in those numbers.

I lost money hand over fist in 2008 but I never quite ran into this limitation on Turbo Tax. I can see how it would happen to a plutocrat with no brains.

How the hell does somebody lose a billion bucks in the gambling industry unless he's addicted to his own crooked tables?

Evidently he's pretty old & retired in Florida. Not sure there's much more he's either willing or able to add. But let's hope they're working on it.
