Hurricane Matthew - Rick Scott has declared a state of emergency for all counties

in preparation for Matthew. Wow!

Jamaica is now on Tropical Storm Warning - not hurricane warning anymore. We're expecting torrential rain but are thrilled that we won't face the hurricane. Sadly Matthew has moved East and may give then the last thing they need - a direct hit on South-Western Haiti would be catastrophic.

We'll only have torrential rain but none of the hurricane strength winds.

2 of them fisherman who went out despite warnings.

Missing Jamaica is a good thing but hitting Haiti instead will be very, very bad.

Scott looks like an ass, as usual.

We're small enough to escape and they usually pass north or south of us. This one is very unusual.
I feel it for Haiti.

Poor Haiti - this is going to be deadly.

LOL for TVJ

https://www.wunderground.com/blog/JeffMasters/matthew-dumping-extreme-rains-threat-to-southeast-us-growing

Very dangerous Hurricane Matthew is maintaining Category 4 strength as it heads northwards at 6 mph, and is already dumping potentially catastrophic rains on Haiti and the Dominican Republic. An unusual area of extra spin and low pressure that has been embedded on the east side of Matthew’s circulation for days is generating intense rains in excess of one inch per hour, as seen on microwave imagery
