(2,902 posts)Two friends of mine from elementary school had life-long injuries from dog bites, and when I worked in a Pet Smart, I saw quite a few more children hurt seriously. It is a completely rational thing to dislike things that hurt especially children.

(13,081 posts)It's been a pretty good rule of thumb so far.
I don't mean allergic, or doesn't want to own one, or prefers cats; I mean just plain hates dogs. It's weird.

I personally am very happy that he's never had a dog. He reminds me of someone who would kick the dog when he got mad at something, and that happens several times every day!

(38,316 posts)Except the husky. He likes everyone.
In case anyone wonders, huskies are awful pets. They are escape artists, they will destroy your backyard by digging holes, holes as big as themselves, and they shed unbelievable amounts of hair. Your dryer lint trap will be full of hair, the hair will clog up your vacuum cleaner, the hair will make it impossible to wear black.
But huskies really like people, all people, and they have this incredible sense of wonder and curiosity. When they laugh at something it's never mean.
Unlike Trump.
