A knock on the door -

A middle-aged man announced he is running for city council and handed me a glossy multi-paged pamphlet with his accomplishments. As he spoke I glanced over it and didn't see any party affiliation . So, I asked him if he was Rep or Dem and he replied he was Rep. I told him I assumed he was going to vote Trump and he replied, "Of course. Who else?" with a grin. I told him I could not vote for anyone supporting Trump and I wish you could have seen the look on his face ( living in a Trump, conservative neighborhood). Comes back with the city council seat doesn't deal with politics and I shot back that is true why is he running on a conservative party ticket that supports a person such as Trump. No reply and he asked for his pamphlet back before walking away.

That is kind of disappointing because sometimes there is nothing fun than to have a 'cat toy' knock at the door.

He resigned his position about a month later, without completing his term.

Surely just a coincidence.
