It's long past time to toss out the congress-critters who bow and scrape to the gun lobby!

New gun control. This is easily demostrated by a review of gun laws at the state level.

the school. Gun control NOW would not have prevented this, as from what I have read (unless I haven't seen it in the news) the father was allowed to own firearms. As a gun owner I hate to see this happen.

need to arm up to protect themselves from the guns other people will shoot them with.

The US has one of the highest rates of gun ownership in the world, but this does NOT make us one of the safest countries in the world. It is just a very profitable place for gun manufacturers and their NRA enablers.

propaganda from the NRA from which you site. I enjoy shooting my collection of firearms. I enjoy spending time with my friends shooting firearms. There is even is a right (2nd Amendment) which allows us to own firearms.

Gotta go now, loading up some 5.56 for the range tomorrow with a friend. Have a good night.

Like this 14 year old who shot three people with his dad's gun. Or the 20 year old in my state who recently killed 5 people with his stepdad's "legal" weapon -- after a gun store owner told him he couldn't buy a gun without a background check. So he took his stepdad's rifle instead.

That stepdad was, like you, a big proponent of the 2nd amendment and the NRA, who owned multiple weapons. I wonder how he feels about that now.
