It should be a requirement of the office.

Thank goodness for President Obama.
I'm actually quite excited for what he might do next.

I'm currently planning on taking 1/20 off for a quiet day of reflection on what this great man has meant for our country.

I suspect there will be many many tears shed by me that day. Hillary will make a wonderful president, but I'm not quite ready to say goodbye to his presidency yet. I wish he had another 8 years.

No chance he would have consoled the distraught man. Probably would have made a remark about how the man's "inferior genes" led him to "cry like a woman."

Who have their lives destroyed by US bombs.

The patience in the hospital gun downed by US helicopter.

The people gunned downed every day 28th death machines created by US backed armed manufacuters.

Decent human beings choose non-violence to resolve disputes.

It is interesting that my post was the first to mention him by name other than a fleeting 'Obama' embedded in the quote.

He's also known as POTUS on hate sites that don't want to write his name.

POTUS is the office. The occupant varies. I don't think the previous POTUS was quite as decent.

Barack Obama, the person, is a very decent human being. He has brought decency back to the office, but that could change at any election, including this one.

Tactics and rely on his successful structure (political, funding, etc) that got him elected. But the penny dropped that he was being president of the entire nation. And that realization awed me even more.

He will go down as one of the best presidents ever, facing a racist, dying GOP (not to mention some reprehensible DINOs in the process) and acting with dignity, honesty, and grace I response to their slights.
