Florida Christian Push 2018 Abortion As Murder Initiative. This Goal Is Ultimate Goal.

According to Raw Story Floridians can expect a state initiative to the state constitution making any abortion capital murder. Thus it makes such procedure 1st degree murder making providers and the woman eligible for the death penalty. Being an off year election they believe they can get THEIR vote out and pass it.

Add up all the rhetoric and making abortion equal to 1st degree murder nationwide is the final goal of the RW Christian movement. All the other anti abortion legislation is just really the beginning of what they really want to do given the votes and power.

What they want shows how dangerous a Trump presidency really could be with Pence as VP.

It's legal nationwide? They can make it difficult or almost impossible to obtain in that state but can they actually enact capital murder charges against something that is legal on a federal level?

If it were enacted, groups like Planned Parenthood would have to spend millions of dollars and many years fighting it in court instead of improving women's health care. In the end, we'd probably win since reproductive rights have been settled law for over forty years. But it would be a long battle and if Florida (my state, *sigh*) keeps electing Republican legislators and governors they will be perfectly happy to spend millions of dollars appealing every time they lost until they take it to the Supreme Court.

These anti-choice people want to make sure no money is left to support women in their reproductive care. They have no concerns that more women will die or that babies will be born with more health problems. They don't give a shit about women.

On the other hand when we have a Madame President Hillary Clinton and she nominates more liberal Supreme Court Justices, the anti-choice people might give it up since they will not have a prayer in hell of winning.
