Not referring to the good citizens, of course.

Something tells me they will get their usual kickbacks, "legal bribes", and all the dressing on the side despite this. That is our system after all

There are plenty of us Democrats and progressives in this state. We are just outnumbered by the lead Republican Gov and his legislators.
Hoping that will change on Nov. 8.
And yes, the commercial losses hurt all of us, not just the bigots.

Than how does the term apply to you?

(I know what it's like to be outnumbered by bigots in your home state and being unable to do anything about it, but there's really no need to take criticism of bigots in your same geographic locale so personally)

....But the Rethugs actually show up at the damn polls. Dems not as much, particularly in off year elections.

Republicans get in office -- in my state the statewide elections are held in non-presidential years -- pass a budget nth of bullshit laws, and then the Democrats MIGHT come out and vote two years later. I'm sure you agree that it's very frustrating.

My larger point was that calling out bigots in a state is not the same as calling out everyone in that state. If people talk poorly about "bigoted white people" it really shouldn't bother white people that aren't bigots, for instance.

and hold a healthy plurality in the Old North State....2.7 million registered Democrats, 2.0 million Republicans, 2.0 million unaffiliated, and barely enough Libertarians to fill an FCS football stadium, 30K. What matters is who's base turns out and who pulls more unaffiliated. If you split the unaffiliateds down the middle, we easily crush the Republicans IF we all actually vote. But in reality we don't because so many on the Dem side don't fucking show up. Particularly in mid term elections. Thus we're cursed with McDumbass and his legislature of clowns.

Supporters of this law just think that relocating to new states is more proof of the "war" against "Christianity".

Here in NC, college basketball is a religion. Losing the ACC and NCAA Division I games is a big deal.

It would be better if dollar figures could be attributed to each line with a grand total.
