Is that he had a brain injury. Did you notice how the wife screams to the cops that he has a brain injury and then states he just took his meds and that he is no threat to the cops.
This information should figure prominently into the news and, yet, I have heard it only once. The cops attack a man who is not able to think properly, isn't this important? It is to me. Why is no one covering this? I know, I know, it is easier to sweep an illegal kill under the rug when it is a 'big scary black man' involved and not someone who is disabled and unable to thoroughly think or defend himself.

He was no threat to them, one of he LEOs said he was rolling a blunt which there was no proof that it was MJ...
Then the LEO said he had a gun
At that time he tried to break Scott's window with a Baton... that makes no sense... if Scott was a threat with a gun

(25,261 posts)or use it? What medication was Mr. Scott on? Have they talked with his Doctor to assess Mr. Scott's state of mind and abilities? Did they find the book he was said to be reading? My understanding is that he was about to pick up one of his kids from school. Was that verified? The cops were really there to deal with some other person. Did they intend to use force on this other person? What was this other person accused of? Was he considered armed and dangerous and is that why the cops took such measures when they mis-identified Mr. Scott as this person? Was this other person ever identified and did they finally deal with him?
There are a lot of questions that I haven't heard explored in the media about this yet. Will we get these answers? and When?

(8,998 posts)while having TBI and on medication?
And have a gun?
What could go wrong?
Lots of questions arise from this situation. The cops' reactions seemed hugely over the top.
