this is a comedy show . guests come on mostly to promote their shit . you can't really expect them to do the job of real reporters.

this was discussed before and letterman was the only one who would do it and he retired from his show.

but he's done some great spots lately really highlighting the incompetence of the media and DT.

I think he saw his job as watching the watchers. Whenever he took up a cause, it was always helping ordinary people, not affecting major policy changes.

..on Jimmy Kimmel Live did go hard on some guests....then, other guests refused to do his show. Given he was against Leno and Letterman....he couldn't keep that up if he wanted the show to survive. He has a nice studio and comfy chairs for his audience today....but as someone who was in the audience during his first week, the set looked nice, but could tell it was cheaply done. Plus the chairs for the audience were horrible. The kind of cheap chairs you get going to a mediocre hotel on a conference...with back problems, they hurt in 10 minutes...no back problems....an hour is an eternity. So he couldn't keep his hard hitting style like he did while being on KROQ during the Kevin and Bean show up. So...he had to change to the market. I still enjoy his show and one day without using up my vacation time, will see his show in person again....but he ain't no pub. Just plays nice with them because....well one day he might have to put Mat Damon on.

From the show with Ben Stein (hey it was a maybe just a gig) to The Man Show with Adam what's his name ( he's making bank with his podcast now) I got that he at least leaned right. He could just be a more tradition Republican.

I was watching Between two Ferns last night and saw his episode. He has to have lost 20-30 pounds since then.
