One died, the others are jailed pending the results of their trial!

But the point is, that those calling for Kaepernick to be punished or disciplined, or sending him death threats, are likely the same ones who support the Bundys and their entourage!!!

I've got a hundred, melodramatic, flag-waving, Facebook posts a day from all sorts of people condeming Kaepernick's sit-down protest and I'll tell you right now that not one of those people raised a single objection when the Bundy gang was running around with guns threatening federal workers and the public as part of a so-called "protest".

by some people in the "court of public opinion".

That is, why there's this widespread public condemnation, by some, of Kaepernick but such a vocal condemnation of Bundy was missing in many quarters.

I guess we interpreted the question differently.

At least it is on my Facebook page.

I was quick to point out that's what's going on. One is condemned for complaining about the government, the other group is praised.

On top of that THEIR candidate is going to 'make America great again'. How is that not saying that America needs to make some changes?

Many walked away from Malheur.

Compare that to statistics for black men in confrontations with police where there is a suspicion or profiling about a weapon, let alone white men parading around in public for TV cameras with weapons and defying the police to come get them.

So one of them went on to murder two people.

These folks weren't arrested, either. Like the ones above, they were allowed to keep their guns, so one of them went on to murder 4 people, including a 15 month old baby girl, in a massacre, as well as himself.

American's go crazy when someone "disrespects our country". Hillary co-sponsored a bill to make flag burning a crime when she was a Senator. I do agree that had the ranchers been black the Obama Administration would have acted more quickly to deal with the problem.

The right wingers complain endlessly about black people protesting violently. But when they engage in peaceful protests like Kaepernick did, those same right wingers bitch about their "lack" of patriotism. I thought this was America, where everyone is free to express themselves in any way they wish?

Anyone truly bothered by that might be a FOX-bot who also thinks there's a "war on Christmas" because some people say "Happy Holidays!" instead.

Seeing Sean Hannity cheering the gun-toting white people at the Bundy Ranch was outrageous because there's NO WAY he would've reacted that way if everyone in that exact same scenario was black.
