Dick Head Gingrich Advising Trump To Go After Federal Employee Unions If Elected.
Gingrich based on a Huff Post article is advising Trump to go after federal employee unions. The idea is to actually go back to the "patronage" system where government employees must follow party lines when doing their jobs. That would mean massive privatization, end of civil service, end of pensions and "work at will" employment.
No longer would federal employees be able to do their jobs unless it reflected corporate or party bias. So if there is a party change during the election process workers not loyal to party in power would ALL be replaced with each election cycle depending on who won the last election.
The usual attacks will be that federal workers are overpaid and over protected and do not deserve "jobs for life" like politicians seem to have with gerrymandering. So we would go back to the day so Lincoln and Grant where massive government corruption and influence peddling was the rule. Even with the present system we see a lot of evidence of how institutions are compromised.
And such attack falls right into the Trump mantra about abolishing government regulation. Poison food, poison water and poison air is the official GOP plan.
