Donnie Jr. and his brother Eric both attended, The Hill School, a private boarding school in Pottstown PA - just outside Philadelphia. Ivanka went to Choate.
Tuition for day students is currently $38K per year. Boarding is required for at least one year - currently $56K.
Add up and round down (not sure what tuition was when they went)
$150,000 for high school.
Hey, through hard work and natural intellect he is now an Executive VP at a big company....and he regularly tweets white supremacist propaganda.

(182,876 posts)Donnie Jr., and his winning personality, was able to parlay his high school experience and Wharton into the high falooting Executive job he has now. Some people are just born with it.

(182,876 posts)He openly talks about how he had nothing to do with their upbringing. Nada as many many people say. He is proud of being an absentee father.

(9,350 posts)I am not sure I can say the schools are worth the money, but they seem to be good schools. I do not know if paying more than $100,000 for a high school education, just to give your kid an edge to go to an ivy league college, is really worth the cost. However, if I had the money, maybe I would send my children to a school like those schools. In addition, I would not criticize anyone who would send their children to either school.
That being said, I think the OP was not criticizing the cost of the school, but trying to point out that even with a more than $100,000 high school education Donald Trump Jr. came out stupid. Although, the problem may be that Trump Jr. is racist instead of stupid.

(4,033 posts)$940. $150, my first year, $190 my 2nd year, $250 my 3rd year and $350 my 4th year. And I'll bet my education was much better than theirs. Why, because I learned to THINK, empathize and be a decent woman.
What was good about the school was that it allowed my parents to pay the tuition in monthly installments. Every month I went to school with cash to turn over to Sr. Mary Jean and per my parents orders got a receipt.
