Europe can't quite get its collective head around the fact that one of the two major parties int the United States actually nominated Donald Trump for president, and are especially appalled that he is polling in double digits. I am confronted in five or more different languages a week--"HOW is this even possible? Sarah Palin wasn't enough?"

Vous êtes des tarés ou quoi? Seid Ihr vollkommen bescheuert? Vosaltres sou bojos? No matter where or how expressed, they can't quite believe it. Frankly, neither can I.

Stuff Europe's airwaves with the equivalent of Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Glenn Beck, The 700 Club, and Fox News for 30 years, and see what happens.
