There are so many lies. Nothing but lies.

That's what I'm trying to wrap my head around. Trump and his campaign surrogates lie, blatantly, and as so many people have said - it just doesn't seem to matter.

How do reasonable people deal with this? I'm reminded of a co-worker years ago; when confronted he got defensive and accusatory of others. A master at twisting the situation so that it appeared the person who confronted him was actually in the wrong. It's as if his technique made everyone's heads short-circuit because they just did not know how to respond to it.

The media and the American people are in old election mode. We've had to deal with crap from the GOP through the years, yes, but we're in new territory now.

What's the answer? Calling out the lies and the racism isn't working.
