Good! Joe Scarborough got holy hell this a.m. from EVERYBODY on his panel when he seemed to

go along with the false equivalency of Trump and HRC on the gun protection issue. Did Scar really THINK he would get a way with it?

"...and see what happens to her." That is the most revolting thing that has come out of Trump's disgusting mouth to date. Joe was rightly taken apart for defending Trump's words.

He actually argued that there was some validity to the Trump/Pence/KellyAnne Conway line comparing HRC's SS protection with the 2nd amendment rights of citizens. Bullshit! It was a thinly veiled threat to a violent attack on HRC herself.

Katty Kay had to school him on what HRC's reasoned argument (keeping guns out of the hands of mentally ill people and criminals) was. The rest of the panel pointed out that the SS, like the police, had a legitimate reason to carry guns, sanctioned by law.

Joe was comparing her reasoned, factually informed argument with some vague reference to a citizen's right to have a gun to protect his family.

The panel was in full revolt and Joe had to back down, mumbling "I guess I'm in the minority here." Um, yes.And for good reason. You don't go around sanctioning an attack on a presidential candidate in any way, shape or form. You just DON'T.

The segment isn't up yet on Google but will be soon...

I am pissed...

Sep 2016

I know many reasonable Republicans who voted for Clinton in 1992. I couldn't believe it during the campaign but it was evident once the results started coming in.

92 was a magic feeling, didn't feel it again until 08.

They're voter base is shrinking and ours is groing; Trump is a sure sign that their party is dying but we must always be on guard because something else will take its place.

We're going to win this election and it isn't even going to be close.

Trump's previous comments about being able to shoot someone and getting a pass were right. For example, see how he has been able to indirectly call for Hillary Clinton's assassination, more than once, with no negative consequences. A regular person would have been behind bars by now. However, Trump, being a wealthy, white man, gets away with it, every time.

is that it is America's love of guns and the gun culture, and the proliferation of military grade weapons amongst the population that make the militarized SS details necessary to begin with.

If there weren't so many fucking nuts out there with AR-15s and AK-47s, we wouldn't need our candidates to wear bulletproof vests in public and surround them with armed guards.

And if he doesn't get around to it, they are sure that his expertise in gun confiscation will be passed on to any Clinton administration.

The fact that the actual confiscation of all guns is about as likely as the 2d coming of Christ never enters anybody's mind.
