(35,338 posts)Strickland sign. Today sitting at an intersection where everyone puts up signs I counted 37 signs 4 or 5 each Trump and Portman.
If the Democratic party or Hillary are paying someone in Belmont county they are getting screwed. I have seen literally hundreds of Trump signs.

(64,933 posts)A few tRump signs are scattered around town. Kettering. The more you get outside of the suburbs of Dayton, the more tRump signs you see.

(72,790 posts)In CT.
I don't think I've seen any Hillary signs.
During primary, I saw more Sanders signs and very few Hillary signs. Hillary won the primary.
Not sure how much these signs matter.

(453 posts)Yard signs really only show enthusiasm. Southern Liberals are dedicated!

Captain small penis and his equally impotent lemmings have zero chance here.
I'm in rural SW Pennsylvania and the trump signs are multiplying like Halloween pumpkins this time of year. It's frightening.

(129,013 posts)Most of the rest of the state is rural. I think I posted in another thread a couple days ago that the number of registered Democrats alone in Philadelphia was the same as the total population of the 24 least-populated PA counties combined. We also have 36 of the 67 counties that each have a total population of less than 100,000.
Every time we look at these electoral maps, some subconsciously think that the population is evenly distributed across all the counties and it is not. The total population of this corner (SW PA) -
not counting Allegheny (where Pittsburgh is), is 200,000 LESS than the population of this one little county in red (in SE PA)-
If you add in Allegheny County, then the total of that corner would be a bit more than Philly + Montgomery County.

(478 posts)I traveled in a area from Clearfield PA to Warren PA saw a lot of Trump signs in Warren PA going in on Route 6 saw 1 Hillary sign in the city of Warren Sheffield PA had some Trump signs Kane PA no signs for either, Ridgeway PA a couple for Trump, Dubois PA I saw no signs, St Mary's PA saw 1 Hillary on the outskirts did not go into the town. Clearfield PA only Trump signs. So far I have seen 3 Hillary to about 50 Trump signs but then NW PA is full of Republicans not that much fun to live here in GOP Hell

(45,806 posts)but I wouldn't dare put a sign for either of them in my yard or on my car because the locals are quite vindictive people. Not much is beyond their anger and keying the side of your car, spray painting your house or car are some of the more mild acts they do just to show you they don't like your politics!
I hope there are a lot of Hillary supporters everywhere who are very supportive and will proudly vote for her, but don't flash their opinion around because of the hate from the Con folks.

(2,679 posts)It's mine, so it's a Hillary sign. No don of the cheeto signs a few bumper stickers though. Just a handful here and there. Seen lots of HRC bumper stickers and almost as many Sanders ones, there were even both Clinton and Sanders ones on cars in my church (catholic). The only other yard sign I have seen were two Sanders signs during the primaries.
I'm in the part of Winter Park FL in Seminole County, which normally votes rethug. Mica is my silly congress critter

(2,795 posts)I see a few Hillary bumper stickers and that's about it. Which surprises me as every election in my very conservative county, I always see a lot of support for the republican candidate, presidential, senate, rep etc. Some people even get those huge window clings and plaster them on their back window. Some of the properties with land will even erect those huge wooden billboards in support. Nothing
I'm not sure if the people out here don't really support him or just don't want to advertise that they are perfectly fine with bigotry, misogyny, racism. I hope it's the former.

(453 posts)But Louisville usually does. And in 2004 there were Bush signs out and proud and Kerry won in Lousiville. I don't know what will happen here, but I do think it's a sign that even Trump voters are ashamed to admit it

(1,290 posts)It's sad, but it's how divided we are politically now. If I drive to where I used to live in another part of Kentucky, I'd be in Trump country where Hillary signs would be very rare.

(1,278 posts)I live in Charlotte, so there are many HRC signs, outside of this county, TP signs.
Essentially Ashevegas (asheville), Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston (winston-salem), Fayettenam (fayetteville for those outside carolina), and the core Triangle area are Blue, the balance of the state is Red.
The SC metro which is York, Chester, and Lancaster counties is deep Red.
NC Governor's Race
McCrory is in real trouble. He is not backing away from #HB2, and the margin of victory in 2012 was this area, and he has pissed some of the wrong people off here (the uptown money crowd).
