Pissed off.

1. Trump's "press conference" about his birther comments is an infomercial for his new DC hotel, MSM headlines reflect the birther non reversal and his effort to blame Hillary. Deep in the article we find the fact that he is lying.
2. His son's reasoning for Trump's refusal to release his tax returns is that doing so would invite too much scrutiny. The story is buried on blog sites while MSM ignores it. He will get away with not having to to release them at all.
3. Bondi bribe story dying while "pneumonia-gate" affects the polls.
4. His Flint, Michigan diss/lie about the pastor who shussed him dies, but we know it would have killed Hillary.
5. Making Dwyane Wade's cousin's shooting about him. Nothing but a press chiding.
6. Trump University lawsuit does nothing to thwart his momentum, but it would kill any democrat's chances.
7. Child care program for which he claims credit is really for hotel guests, not employees.
8. Major policy flip flop on immigration does nothing.
9. Advocates no armed protection for Clinton. The story will vanish by Monday, not to mention the fact that the laughable concept of disarming government agents in charge of protecting the president is not the same thing as asking for reasonable gun control measures. MSM ignores Trump's false equivalency.
10. Charges of raping underage girl. Jimmy Fallon musses his hair.
11. Claims he will create 25 million jobs. No one asks how.
12. Lies about what happened on his Mexico visit. Anyone else would still stink of the very idea of lying about a head of state. Not him. Story forgotten.
13. Woman assaulted at Trump rally. Cops let perpetrator go, proving "basket of deplorables" comment has a ring of truth, yet it is still seen as a liability for Clinton.
14. Middle class economic growth story forgotten.
15. Hillary's 3-5 point lead described as a "dead heat tie" by MSM.
16. Newsweek "bombshell" story about Trump's conflicting business interests goes down the tubes.
Add your own.

Please don't ask me what my point is and don't give me any "concern troll" crap. This is legit. I've donated to her campaign and I am doing my part to help. I have a right to be worried and angry. It shouldn't be like this. You have heard it before: He is doing things that would kill any democrat's chances, and the press and public are complicit.

I wonder what jefferson would say these days about the media.

Were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter. Thomas Jefferson

The OP did a good job of enumerating examples. And make no mistake, the media is the most powerful force at work in 21sr century America.
I am hoping we saw a game changer these past few days, but that decision will be made at the Monday morning media exec meetings. Then word will be passed on to the talking heads and the public will eat up whatever they are fed.

The controversy gins up ratings and thus sell deodorant and beer. MSNBC and, to some extent, CNN, actually began to report the truth, yesterday; some of those reporters and anchors were really mad. The NYT used "Birther lie" in a headline about T-rump. He provoked whatever pride the media people have left by conning them with his "press conference." But, as has already been said, further developments depend on the next MSM exec meetings. Yesterday at the new T-rump hotel was outrageous, so we're about to find out if the MSM thinks outrage sells.

4. He's the abuser

The press, the Republican Party and his followers are his to abuse as he feels the urge and they keep coming back for more.

He needs the press more than anything else, and the press know it but instead of just shutting him off they obediently tuck their tails under and go into their penned off area at the other end of the room.

The Republican Party begs him to read off the same monitors they condemn President Obama of using and if he does they promise they'll be his forever.

And by the way, Hillary never said she wanted to do away with the Second Amendment. Not once. But his idiocracy followers think she does just because he said it. They are fucking morons! And, yes! they are deplorable fucking morons!

7. The Fawning Corporate Media rules

It's not that the media loves STFU Donny or HRC. They love a horse race. The comedy shows tell us how every election is "tied" in mid-September. Magic? Hardly - it's all part of the "politics game". A perfect example of how the media carries a BS story is the birther crap. Had grown-ups been running the media, they would have let the whole birth certificate myth boil and stew over at the nuthouse that is fox noise. Instead, by discussing it, analyzing the right's endless obsession, and bringing on birther after birther to the TV it became a "thing" that concerns a great number of people. The fact that we're even talking about STFU Donny deciding that our President was actually born in Hawaii is a giant non-story. It should be relegated to just another dumb utterance by a relatively uninformed man playing to his ignorati base. The infuriating thing about all this is that it works. Over half the repukes aren't sure if Obama was born in the USA? Amazing. A candidate who uses the whole birther nonsense as part of his popular platform?? Priceless. And honestly, the Democrats have never been good at responding. Calling STFU Donny's supporters deplorable was quite effective - it's the down-in-the-mud crap the media loves. It seemed to shock a lot of people too. And it got press!

He played them obscenely with this "birther" press conference, and they all know it.

But they're like people being served steaming hot bowls of shit and being told it's soup. Even when they figure out it's actually shit- "Mmmmmmm! More shit, please!"
