The "disarm" comment is a standard RW talking point and FB meme

Not excusing it but I've seen this for several years and heard it on radio.

This is yet another example of Trump telling his crowd what they want to hear. It is new and strange to anyone who does follow/monitor the RW world. And, it is a different world. To their believers this is both dogma and an inside joke. They almost have their own language.

Trump is just introducing their "greatest hits" and "classics" into the discussion. The media picks it up and after the 16th time a person hears it they start considering it. The 16 times thing is a standard of sales whether it's timeshares or the fact that your viewing habits are easily categorized and you WILL see the same product about 16 times in a few TV sessions.

If you have an Facebook friend who's an ammosexual you have seen this before. First it was Obama then they shifted the memes to Hillary. "If they don't like guns why do their bodyguards have them?" (whatever fallacy that is). I've even seen Beyonce as the target of this.

What we saw today is pure Bannon/Breitbart. What is said doesn't matter, just be the loudest and the brashest. Remember when Weiner was going to make his first mea culpa Breitbart himself saw the waiting open mic and jumped on stage to scream and yell. They don't care about policy, they only care about throwing a fit ....and then using their media hammer it home (16 times) and then herald their own success. In their nastiest heyday Rove or even Atwater couldn't have dealt with the Breitbart kind because there is no norms or mores for them. It's all about outrageousness.

This is one of main questions about this election, can the right infuse their nonsensical standard lines ("greatest hits&quot into the body politic? If so, how?
