When this story broke I have to admit I instantly was mostly concerned with the election. Donald Trump scares me. I am obsessively focused on this election.
However, I'm ashamed that I lost sight of the the fact that she is someone special that was sick. She should have been receiving thoughts and prayers. I, CNN, and basically everyone seemed to have very little concern over her well being.
I also lost sight of what today is really about and the lives that were lost. To so many of us Hillary is our hope and the hero that can save us from Trump. We ALL need to start loving Hillary a lot more! Not just as the hero and feminist, but the person and the legacy of work she has done. We should appreciate her a lot more than we have been. I'm ordering my yard sign right now.

(21,056 posts)I too thought of it in the election sense, because we are relying on her so much to save us from Drumf! I am glad she's being taken care of. I am thrilled that it's nothing more. I also advise you to keep an eye on that yard sign when you get it, maybe get a security cam off ebay or amazon if you can, because people of the deplorable nature destroy them.

(453 posts)Yes I agree! I have a bumper sticker and I am getting honked at and flipped off on the regular. I'm also a bad driver so maybe it's that?

(21,056 posts)I've heard nothing but bitch this and that for months in my red county in a purple state. I'm like please Hillary, get well and win this, I dread the thought of Donald destroying America...

(12,265 posts)Every time they take mine I give money to the local party office for her campaign. Look at the picture of her with the little girl outside of her daughter's apartment. That is the real Hillary, the kind and soft Hillary, not the nut they have made her out to be.
Get well soon Secretary Clinton, we need you so badly!
