Learning more about the heroes that day helps me feel like good prevails even when evil seems relentless.
Watching the diverse collection of boats in this video speed to Manhattan to rescue 500,000 people is almost breathtaking in its beauty.
This is a hopeful short film for anyone having a rough time today.
May we humans show this side of ourselves more often until no one is suffering.

(13,807 posts)1. In the worse times, the best comes out!
Heroes are the ones who rush in and run not away.
Strangers helped strangers throughout that day and on any tragic day.
So many simple acts of gracious humanity are revealed after such events.
So many people saying: "Do you need help?"
We should value life as much every day.
Thanks for the kick, imanamerican63

(1,369 posts)3. Thank you for sharing this film which I 've never seen before.
I just can't watch the replays of that day.

There are reminders in this short, but the story is the "resilience of humans," like Hillary overcoming her exhaustion and letting us know she's okay.
She's the one who fought for the first responders to be protected, when Republicans said "screw you" to all of those heroes.
I understand why you don't want to watch replays.
