Russia elects a new parliament in late September.

According to the russian polling-institute Lewada:
51% of voters believes that some kind of election-fraud will happen.
23% of voters expressed willingness to sell their vote.
About half of those 23% think that 5000 Rubles (~$60) would be a fair price.

In other news, the Lewada-center was forced to reregister as a "foreign agent". "Foreign Agent" means that the organisation receives money from foreign sources. The term is emotionally charged because it was used in the Soviet Union to describe spies and traitors.

The Lewada-center is THE go-to polling institute for all things Russia, also for foreign media. Designating it as a "foreign agent" means that the people it's polling will to some degree automatically distrust it.
