BTW, I was just at Niagara Falls yesterday on a school field trip. We went under Wallenda's wire while on the Maid of the Mist boat. I couldn't imagine walking that!!!

(10,165 posts)I walked over Niagara Falls last year - did it on a bridge, though. Highly recommended if you're there and have the documentation to cross the border: it's a great view, but very, very windy.

All week on Canadian TV they've been showing that horrible clip of his great grandfather falling to his death (minus the hitting the ground part, thank god, you never know with the infotainment people) and I just decided I didn't need to see something like that live. I'm glad he made it, safe and sound. I don't understand, but I suppose it's just in his blood.
