Brexit's broken all its promises - and here's what happens next

This article made a lot of sense to me, so thought I would share it. I am not from England, but on a common sense level in todays' world I think its pretty good.

Well, Brexit's going well isn't it?

From the point of view of a Remainer, that is.

Because not only has Brexit not happened yet but everything promised by Boris & co has failed to materalise.

It's a bit like watching Nigel Farage get stuck in a malfunctioning Star Trek transporter beam and slowly splitting into his component atoms.

They said Britain would once more bestride the world as in the days of empire.

At yesterday's G20 summit leaders' photocall the British Prime Minister was one row from the back, next to the bins.

We were promised controls on immigration to stop giving preferential treatment to EU citizens.

The Prime Minister has just said our new controls on immigration will probably have to give EU citizens preferential treatment.

And, oh yes, we were promised £50m a day for the NHS.
