What gives?

(131,227 posts)and I guess they decided not to fill in with substitute. Ezra Klein's been doing it all week.
Gotta find something else to do this hour.

(29,097 posts)I hope that's the reason, 'cause he's been filling in
for her the last few nights...Hope it's not something more ominous.

(12,272 posts)Lockup is supposed to be on at 7:00. I think Rachel was going to give 'em more hell than usual.

(4,222 posts)I can't stand Lockup. I know some people like it but I don't get the attraction.

(31,706 posts)Next month there'll be the rushpublican swillfest followed by the Democratic convention in August...then it's onto the full blown election season. She'll be very busy and hopefully is resting up for the grind ahead.
I wonder what type of coverage there will be during the Olympics. I suspect Ed, Rachel and Larry will continue each evening and they'll do the sports stuff during the days and weekends.

Folks, we've got no live show tonight, so you'll have to let the ducks send you to prison. For everyone who's asking, Rachel has been a little under the weather, seriously nothing serious, and thank you for asking.

(5,818 posts)according to Politico. I doubt whether her current MSNBC contract fives her anything near that much.
Rachel and her agent just might be playing hardball the MSNBC brass.

(17,087 posts)She anchors their primetime lineup and he has a mid afternoon show. No contest. And I very much doubt she is trying to put the squeeze on the network - it didn't work out very well for the last one that played those kind of games, although he does have a lot more time for baseball games now.
