DAM. Russia and US fail to come to agreement on peace in Syria

during G20 CNN. I wonder if that rat bastard Putin only got into the Syria mess in order to have leverage over the west on things like the Ukraine. Whatever the case Obama didn't fall for it. Poor Syria. No 'Agreement to end the violence in syria'.

in any but a symbolic way. There are several factions there, and the recent Turkish incursion won't help. They're more interested in blocking the Kurds than anything else. Maybe they'll oppose ISIS, but it not a guarantee.

It's a bit of an impasse.

But more than anything, no one trusts anyone. We don't trust Russia. Russia does not trust us. In Turkey, Erdogan has become unpredictable. There are a lot of competing interests going on here.
