Is Ann Coulter the Most Hated Woman in the World? She Was at Last Night's Rob Lowe Roast

http://www.eonline.com/news/790558/is-ann-coulter-the-most-hated-woman-in-the-world-she-was-at-last-night-s-rob-lowe-roast

Rob Lowe had to smile and laugh through a lot of harsh insults during last night's taping of his Comedy Central Roast.

But it was nothing compared to what Ann Coulter had to face.

"Ann is one of the most repugnant, hateful, hatchet-face bitches alive," said British comedian Jimmy Carr. "It's not too late to change, Ann. You could kill yourself."

Even NFL star Peyton Manning piled on the hate: "I'm not the only athlete up here," the Super Bowl champ said. "As you know earlier this year, Ann Coulter won the Kentucky Derby."

More here from Variety:

Nikki Glaser: “The only person you will ever make happy is the Mexican who digs your grave.”

.....................

Davidson: “If you are here, Ann, who is scaring the crows away from our crops?”

............................

............................

Jewel: “I do want to say as a feminist that I can’t support everything that’s been said tonight. But as someone who hates Ann Coulter, I’m delighted.”

Rob Riggle: “If Ann Coulter is here, someone must have said her name three times. Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice!”

Wow, Ann got it good and I'm delighted also!

Nobody and nothing in the room is off limits, and the room is as blue as they want it. It's a comedy fight club with gloves off.

One classic moment was watching Bea Arthur spit her drink (she was not the roast-ee) when someone quipped "I wouldn't fuck ____ with Bea Arthur's dick!"

That's what I got from reading the articles. For instance, he asked Gwyneth Paltrow and one other woman who both declined because the roast committee also gets hit as Coulter found out.

"Oh I see I've hit a nerve! (MEEEOOOOWWW!!!!!)" And of course she'd be totally justified in believing that.

Too many on her side of the aisle willfully (or maybe they're just that ignorant) interpret things that way when they earn heat from the left and other fellow normal people who inhabit this weird thing called reality. Either that or they'll go to any twisted upside-down extremes to avoid facing the truth behind that heat.

because too much importance has been placed on women's looks in terms of their worth or importance.

On the other hand at a roast pretty much anything goes.

Hence I am torn.

The problem is, Anne is not a beloved comedian. She's a hatchet wielding pundit and every liberal in the room got a rare opportunity to say exactly what they wanted to her. It's the way roasts have always been.

Women weren't allowed until 1988, but Phyllis Diller sneaked in in drag earlier than that.

After how much she's said and done? She deserves tormentors. I'm glad they did a thorough job of it. The only thing wrong with what they did is that it didn't last long enough, and she didn't exit the room covered with spittle.

If she isn't in the crosshairs, she does her very best to get the attention of her opponents, i.e. sensible and normal people.

Don't expect any sympathy from me. For her, the degree to which she is hated is directly proportional to the degree that she thinks she is doing her job. In other words, the more outrage she produces, the more successful she is.

No matter how vile it is. I have family connections with someone she's gone after. As much as she's subjected others to, she has been begging for this kind of treatment. And if someone wants to call her a bleach-blonde skeletal horse-faced sack of bony shit, I don't care. So long as someone makes her hurt, I'm good with it. I hope she went home and wept hopelessly at her reflection, with no one to console her.
