Maine Gov. Paul LePage leaves profanity-laced voicemail for state lawmaker

a major trump supporter....

[IMG][/IMG]

Washington (CNN)Maine Gov. Paul LePage left an expletive-laced voicemail for a state lawmaker that goaded him to "prove that I'm a racist" after a series of controversial comments once again put the governor in the news.

LePage left the message for Democratic State Rep. Drew Gattine on Thursday, according to the Portland Press Herald, which also was the first to obtain audio of the voicemail. The uncensored audio message, also shared with CNN, contains several explicit phrases.

CNN requests for comment to Gattine and LePage's office Friday morning were not immediately returned.

The bombastic Republican governor is known for his loose style, which sometimes draws criticism. He is a strong supporter of Donald Trump, and Trump's campaign recently hired his daughter to work on the race in Maine.

I'd like him to prove he's "spent his life helping black people". For some reason, i have my doubts.

And btw: Socialist?!? Is this guy in the 1920's?

In the same way an F5 tornado is a "gentle" zephyr. Nice pass you gave this asshole, CNN. Keep up the good work.

These are guys with the name D-Money, Smoothie, Shifty – these types of guys – they come from Connecticut and New York, they come up here, they sell their heroin, they go back home,” LePage said at the meeting, according to the Portland Press Herald. “Incidentally, half the time they impregnate a young white girl before they leave, which is a real sad thing because then we have another issue we have to deal with down the road.”

Here are some of LePage's other "greatest hits":

"Lovely people, but you've got to have an interpreter."

That was LePage over the weekend discussing the accents of Indian immigrants while criticizing a referendum proposal to raise Maine's minimum wage to $12. He also said he couldn't understand workers "from Bulgaria." And he made a crude remark about President Barack Obama, saying Obama stands for "one big-ass mistake, America."

He is such a vile, piece of shit. He totally wants in on the Trump administration, if Trump wins. I could see Trump giving him a job too because he's republican, a loud mouthed idiot, and an asshole... that makes him a shoe-in. I wish LePage and Trump would just go away. It's like they exist just to make other people's lives suck.

He really needs some kind of mental health intervention. Another Republcan will step in to the governorship if LePage is unable to fulfill the role.
