Dear Republican Voters: Time to walk away from the racists,

or show us that you are one of them.

Hillary called out Trump and the Republican Party today, on their ongoing racism. After your party's "Southern Strategy," your party's Willy Horton ad, your party's backing of George Wallace in years gone by, your party's hatred of the Civil Rights movement, how can you stand with the GOP if you aren't a racist?

Since Trump rode down on his golden escalator at Trump Tower to announce that he is joining the presidential race, all he has done is spew racism and lies wrapped in a veil of thinly disguised bigotry.

So, dear Republicans: Is this who and what you are? Is this what your party stands for? Is this something you are proud of and will run out and vote for?

Oh, sorry. Didn't mean to put you on the spot. ... Well, yes I did. Make up your mind. Do you stand with the KKK and the all the other hate-filled, angry bigots standing by a new unhinged "leader?" Or have you retained some degree of decency and self respect? Are you willing to turn your back on them and retain your humanity?

I have racist assholes in my own family. I was raised to be a redneck racist asshole and if I hadn't been gay I might never have examined my "thinking" process, which wasn't about thinking at all but about falling back on preconceived bullshit notions.

My stupid asshole brother in law supported W, got a tag saying "Four more years," and spews so much sewage from his mouth that he should be required to wear a septic tank for a collar. It finally reached a point a couple of years ago where I told him what he really is and we haven't spoken since.

I had a similar experience with my father. I was, as you say, "raised to be a racist" (and an anti-Semite) but was able to break free, as were my brothers.

This sort of division is just one more sad aspect, one more evidence of the damage hate causes.

Best wishes.

So you and I are now bound to Satan. (Or "Satin," as some of them spell it.)

"Christian Love™" = hate by another name.
