No other human in history has had as much money (public money) spent on investigating their life
as has Hillary Clinton. The amount spent seems anywhere from 30 million dollars to 100 million dollars. All of it tax payer dollars. The end result has been mild embarrassment for Secretary Clinton and humiliation for the Republican Party and its stalkers of all things Clinton. The recurrent and incessant brandishing of alleged newly discovered emails will go on until the election is held and all the wailing and frothing have come to naught. A fellow DU'er used the term "frothing argle bargle" to describe the republican indignation at almost everything. It seems fitting. Hillary is going to be our next President and that is because she can do the job as the constitution describes it and her opponent cannot. Frothing argle bargle aside, the republicans can do little to prevent this because they nominated a crazy person to be their candidate. The public recognizes this, even those whom voting democratic is equivalent too....well I'll leave to your imagination that visualization.
The real problem for the republicans is whether or not they survive as a coherent entity. The Senate is clearly up for grabs in this election cycle, perhaps the house too. As more and more Americans come to the realization that the Republican Party has lost its validity and is no longer a rational choice it will become a marginalized creature spewing frothing argle bargle from the recesses of the political forest.
