Louisiana flooding is worst disaster since Sandy, but people arent talking about it
At least 13 people are dead and 40,000 homes are damaged because of flooding in Louisiana and the rest of the world isnt really talking about it. Similar - unprecedented - environmental events are occurring on a worldwide basis, due to climate change.
At least two people are dead and hundreds have been rescued from their homes and cars as "unprecedented" flooding ravaged Louisiana in recent days, prompting the governor to declare a state of emergency, reports say. http://www.people.com/article/two-dead-louisiana-floods-emergency

Due to no history of flooding in affected areas, most refugees lacked adequate insurance coverage to replace property losses.

(15,805 posts)1. Why did you add, "Caution: Racially mixed image!"
It was completely off putting and tainted what would have been a nice human interest story about rescues with the shade of uncalled for race baiting. No, it isn't funny. And no, it isn't even going to pass the smell test as an after the fact Trump sarcasm.
Shame on you.

After reading your reasonable criticism, I realized other readers might not grasp the sarcasm.
