I hope she gets bitten by a rodent and its fleas and she breaks out in BIG PURPLE BUBOES.
Oh, don't look at me like that, it's curable with antibiotics. However, the west is an endemic plague area and even feral cats are working cats, eating rodents.
Her parents did a rotten job of bringing her up to appreciate hunting. Real hunters don't kill anything they're not prepared to eat.
