Why don't you just cancel all of Trumps's personal appearances and just put Guilani and Katrina Pierson on tv shows to explain what he "meant to say"? You can also put on Paul Ryan to evaluate the jokes that would ave been in the speech.
This would save everyone a lot of time.

They should keep him out there and then make their surrogates keep looking like buffoons and idiots defending the indefensible.

Every time Ryan has to sheepishly tap-dance around another Trump foot in mouth moment, he looks smaller and more insignificant in the future. He is being emasculated and cut down from formidable to joke status daily, by November, we may have to start digging deep trenches to even FIND him for comments....
