(25,862 posts)The topic was media coverage of Trump. It was pointed out that some 60% of Trump's statements are untrue, while for Clinton the untrue number is 13%. One of Trump's campaign people was on, and not did he not address the actual substance of the inaccuracies, but then went on to claim the NYTimes said something it did not. How interesting.
I wonder why so many of his supporters are so willing to suspend their disbelief?

I think nearly everyone is that way to SOME extent, but the stubborn attitudes of some people blows my mind.
I was a Libertarian moron in high school (a long time ago), but further education and historical facts caused me to toss that political ideology into the garbage! If I was a sociopath, which I'm not, maybe I would've still held onto Libertarian ideas as well?

(47,953 posts)To cater to their biases. To 'live that fantasy'. All pols do this to some extent, it is just that Trump has pushed that way past previous limits to cater to the worst elements of the RW in this country.
