Dear DEA.

Fuck you.

If the Federal Cops won't recognize and prosecute a clear case of treason how in the HELL can you claim the moral high ground when it comes to a harmless herb like cannabis???

You can't.

Dear Hillary,

If you wish to capture an entire nationwide voting block all you need do is announce you'll issue an Executive Order declaring cannabis is decriminalized.

Signed,

A 44 year pot smoker.

1. Blatant corruption of the highest order

"This decision isn't based on danger. This decision is based on whether marijuana, as determined by the FDA, is a safe and effective medicine," he said, "and it's not."

This is honestly getting silly. By the perverted logic being used by the DEA, anything which isn't an FDA approved medicine could be stuck in schedule 1 and arbitrarily banned. The DEA even admits that the classification isn't about danger. It's about the lack of proof backing up the medicinal value of the plant. HELLO? By that logic why isn't nicotine a schedule 1 drug? No medical uses and kills hundreds of thousands per year. I'm convinced that the DEA is simply being paid off by big pharma, and big pharma don't like seeing prescriptions drop by 25% in MMJ states.

Soon we might see over half of all states with legal mj or medical mj. Over 55% of the public supports legal recreational use. What in the HELL is it ever gonna take for the DEA to abandon their FLAT EARTHER approach to regulating this drug>?

Stuff like this makes me realize that those Bundy clan jerks were right. Not for what they were protesting, but their overall point is correct. The federal alphabet agencies are utterly corrupt, out of control and lack accountability.

Why are alcohol and tobacco not schedule 1? Both have no accepted medical uses, are highly addictive and dependence forming, and kills countless people every year. Oh yeah, there is no logic. It's always been about money, and the DEA is a corrupt tyrannical organization. The end. The DEA needs to be disbanded for obvious corruption.

What it will take is a President who has the guts and moral character to go against the Prison-Industrial Complex and Big Pharma, and appoint someone to lead the DEA who will lead us out of the dark ages. Sanders said he would do it, but he lost. I wish Clinton would take that part of his platform and make it part of hers also, but I am not holding my breath. The states are going to have to lead, just like they did and are doing in other civil rights areas like LGBT.

As in the first president to assertively move towards ending the failed prohibition of cannabis. I mean what are they afraid of? Nearly 60% of the public supports recreational use, and probably >75% are for some form of medical use. Are they afraid of losing the 'family values' conservatard group? Those guys are gonna vote right wing no matter what.

Obviously the DEA are never gonna change their stance. They're the drug enforcement equivalent of the Catholic church when they were burning people at the stake for suggesting Earth went around the sun.

Bernie was the only one who actually had the moral fortitude to even acknowledge the issue.

If the DEA rescheduled Cannabis, more than 60% of their force would need to be cut and their budget could be cut to the bone.

The DEA has a personal financial interest in keeping Cannabis a Schedule 1 drug and they are fucking pissed off at Obama for not releasing them to go after recreational Cannabis in Colorado, Oregon, Alaska, Washington, and D.C..

But I am not. There is too much money to be made the way things are, and those making the money own politicians on both sides of the aisle. Hoping for HRC to change it is worthless- she won't do it, or even promise to. Not voting for her is disaster, and she knows it- which is why she doesn't need to promise anything
