http://winningdemocrats.com/paul-ryan-brushes-off-trumps-second-amendment-remarks-as-a-joke-gone-bad/House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) was reluctant to endorse Donald Trump, even after he became the Republican Partys nominee. But eventually, he did endorse him. Since then he has somehow excused every atrocious thing that Trump has said or done.
True to form, Ryan brushed off Trumps latest foot-in-mouth episode as well. According to the Speaker, Trumps suggestion that Second Amendment people are the only ones who can stop Hillary Clinton was just a joke gone bad.
Special: Hasselbeck: This is why I will NEVER return to "The VIEW"
Speaking at a press conference after he had won his Republican primary, Ryan acted as if it was no big deal that his partys presidential nominee had just hinted at the assassination of the former Secretary of State.
Ive been a little busy today. I heard about this Second Amendment quote. It sounds like just a joke gone bad. I hope he clears it up very quickly. You should never joke about something like that. I didnt actually hear the comments, I only heard about those comments, Ryan said.

Maybe you should hear the words, not just about them, before expressing an opinion.

and Trumps jests reveal a trivial and disturbed mind, which should be kept far from any position of responsibility for others.
