U.S. court blocks FCC bid to expand public broadband

This just beyond frustrating. The people voted for it. The municipality voted for it. The FCC as representative of the federal government voted for it. But because some lame suck ass republicans at the state level are beholden to the telecom industry, it gets banned. And oh by the way, every socio-economic indicator says that it was hugely beneficial for the people and businesses in terms of cost savings, and even for state tax revenue from more businesses and jobs.
