I didn't want to go but was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't the warzone that I expected. The architecture in downtown Chicago is absolutely amazing. The area I stayed in is probably 100 times safer than where I currently live. If I had the funds, I'd move there.

How many of the shooters underwent a background check?
How many are already felons?
How many would be affected by any of the proposed new 'commonsense' gun laws?

The truth is that Chicago's south side has a drug and societal problem that can't be legislated away.
