Palin was and is a stupid trainwreck of a politician and a human being. But at a certain point, I have a weird pathetic pity for her because she's so ridiculously over her head in everything that she's does and it's just so blatantly obvious to everyone but her. That utter lack of self-awareness is cringeworthy.

Trump is just a horrible, terrible human being, period. There is absolutely nothing redeemable about the man, or even pitiable. He can go to hell for all I care.

47% of the country will never ever vote for a Republican, so trying to convince them is futile. Not "takers", just Democrats.

"There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what ... who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims. ... These are people who pay no income tax. ... and so my job is not to worry about those people. I'll never convince them that they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives," Romney said.
