GOP Strategist Calls Donald Trump a 'Loudmouthed Dick' on Live TV

“Have you lost any hope that the GOP can reign Trump in to be more traditional?” Cooper inquired. “Or at least more disciplined as a candidate?”

“I lost all hope of that probably seven, eight months ago now, quite candidly,” Mair replied. “It’s amazing to me that anybody’s still having a discussion about having some sort of an intervention or bringing him back on message… This is his message. His message is being a loudmouthed dick, basically, and going out there and offending people and then engaging in a bunch of airing of grievances. That’s what he does. He doesn’t have another message.”

rein is what you do to a horse to slow him down. Reign is a king's term in presiding over his people. Anyone else with me?

So you "rein" in a candidate, much like you would a horse. You do not "reign" in a candidate.

True Libertarians would never identify as being part Republican or Democratic.

Gary Johnson doesn't say he's "Libertarian Republican" or "Libertarian Democrat", just simply "Libertarian".

Johnson even ran for president as a Republican last time before switching to Libertarian.

Even Ron Paul has run for president as a Libertarian and then for congress as a republican

Incidentally, another GOP strategist worth listening to is Rick Wilson. He's bright and has a great sense of the absurd! I've seen him on Lawrence's show and have enjoyed his comments very much. He has a lot to say.
