If Trump wins he wins. In 4 years someone will replace him. If the military starts replacing leaders they don't like that is when democracy is dead.

a soldier is obligated to not carry out unlawful orders so if they are following their oath no Nazism would happen. At best Obama would order genocide, soldiers wouldn't do it and that would be the end of it.

The implied message was a military use of force to remove a duly elected president. If you do that you have no democracy you just have a sham where people vote but the military has absolute power. That isn't a country I would want to live in. We survived Shrub we will survive the Cheeto Jesus.

Personally I don't think Drumpf wins because he is his own worst enemy but if it happens we move forward we don't have a military coup.

Godwin's meme is a trendy little bumper-sticker, overly-simplistic and predicated on its own bias... so I understand the meme's popularity.

Unless the country is under attack, it takes two people to authorize the release of nuclear weapons. Trump would not be able to do it alone. All it would take is another person to refuse to comply and no nuclear weapons would be used. It would of course cause a Constitutional crisis, and Trump would probably be impeached and removed.

President Trump sounds like President Lex Luthor

For one thing, we have a process in place. There would be far too many people who would be willing to sign the papers to claim he's mentally incompetent. After that, there is a line of succession to follow.

At some point it should be clear to everyone that the Republicans are not going to protect Trump's back. They are not doing it before the election, and they won't afterwards either.
