GW Bush has been given a lifetime achievement award for his continued "services to gobbledygook"
The Foot in Mouth Award is presented each year by the Plain English Campaign for "a baffling comment by a public figure.
The award has been presented 20 times.
Rumsfeld earned it in 2003 for his overuse of the word "know" during a press briefing given as United States Secretary of Defense:
"Reports that say that something hasn't happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns the ones we don't know we don't know."
Bush earned it in 2008 as a lifetime achievement.
Romney got in 2012 for "I believe in an America where millions of Americans believe in an America that's the America millions of Americans believe in. That's the America I love."
And in 2015 the award went to ...........Donald Trump
"The Plain English Campaign said that Trump was "unrivaled".
In particular the campaign cited his remarks on Mexican immigrants: "They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists.
And some, I assume, are good people." It also cited his remarks on John McCain: "Hes not a war hero. He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who werent captured.
